Introduction
the Academy for Inter-Action: where theory and practice come together to learn to guide people and groups in their development. The Academy uses several methods. The most important of these is sociometry.
Sociometry makes group dynamics transparent and tangible, allowing growth and changes to take place. The Academy provides structure for the safe construction of the group, so that the group can support the process of fair exchange.
The aim is to establish an authentic connection in the encounter with others and to promote creativity. Central to this is the investigation of often unconscious choices. Awareness of choices enables people to make different, creative choices. Ultimately, the aim is to develop new roles. Fun in this co-creative voyage of discovery is also very important!
Online
Online sociometrics is different from live in a room, but it also offers many unexpected benefits and is just as safe.
Secure
Safety and trust in the group are absolute preconditions for trying new ways.
Action method
Much attention is paid to theory, and to putting the various action methods into practice.
Jacomien Ilbrink - de Visser
The Academy for Interaction is an initiative by Jacomien Ilbrink – de Visser. Jacomien followed her psychodrama training in the USA with her main instructor: Louise Lipman.
The aim of the academy is to use sociometry to create a psychologically safe environment so that hidden processes can be presented transparently and self-development and personal growth can take place.
As of 2017, Jacomien is the chair of the international Psychodrama Association for Europe.

“Changing colours of our lives”
Explore changing colours in our lives!
In our lives constant chances take place: in fact, the only thing that remains stable is that there is change! Let us explore what colours change in the seasons of our lives by playing together.
We will change the order of how sociometry and psychodrama usually is done and colour outside the frame! We will use sociometric processing after the action phase, so let’s play and process who you choose for something after the play!
Playing the System with Sociodrama and Action Methods
Cultivating systemic awareness using playful interventions
Sociodrama is a group approach to mapping out systems and exploring the dynamics of the roles we play within them. When we map out a system, we can more clearly see roles and responsibilities that currently exist in a group or team. Identifying where these work with ease and where they are conflicted can prepare a group for planning more effective action in the future.
How can we learn to playfully intervene?
Participants will experience sociodrama from the warm-up and contracting phases through to sharing and beyond: in sociodrama we have an opportunity to consider what the impact is for the group, organisation or society as a whole. What have we learned about ourselves, each other and the world we live in by taking familiar and less familiar roles and playing with them?
Come join us for this introduction to sociodrama. You’ll not only have fun but also gain profound insights into yourself, others, and the structures that deeply impact our lives.
